Wendy Laros cofounded Manta Pacific Research Foundation in 2002 with Keller Laros. She served as President of the Board for the first seven years and is now Secretary of the organization. 

 

Wendy began diving with the manta rays of Kona, Hawaii in 1991 as a PADI professional scuba diving instructor with Jack's Diving Locker.  She worked at Jack's from 1991-2016 in dive training, sales, marketing, event planning, community outreach and managing the education department.

Wendy earned a masters degree in Learning Design and Technology from University of Hawaiʻi Manoa. She developed the Manta Naturalist Course for Manta Tour Guides and Operators through this program.

Wendy is currently the President and CEO of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce.
