Sari was first seen by divers as they jumped into the water for a drift dive at Shark Ledge. When the divers first dropped in, they saw two rays moving quickly through the water with one slightly smaller ray "chasing" Sari. They did a few barrel rolls, went back to the surface and kept making passes directly at the boat, almost as if the larger one was trying to shake the other one off its tail.
