Thumper was first spotted by Frank at Big Island Divers at "Sand Shoots". According to Frank, "she was feeding and then as I swam out to her, she stopped eating and flirted with me. She had no fear of me at all. It seemed to me she was trying to brush off those remoras, because she came so very very close 5 times. Each time almost pushing them on me."
