Rubin Ray was first identified in the fall of 1999 at Ho’ona Bay. He is a young male about 5’-6’ across. He is a clean manta with no scuffs or cuts. He is named after vertebrate biologist Dr. Robert Rubin. Dr. Rubin works on continuing research of manta ray biology and ecology. Keller and Wendy are grateful to “Dr. Bob” for his support in their project. |
