This young male manta ray was first sighted at Ho’ona Bay/Garden Eels October 11, 1999. He is about 7’ across and his tail is complete. He did have some scuff marks on his cephalic fins and chest He is named after Captain Kawika Leicher who has assisted divers on the Kona Manta Ray Night Dive since 1991.
