Jeffrey Ray was first sighted on October 11, 1999 at Ho’ona Bay. He is about 7’-8’ across. When sighted in 1999, he had red scuff marks on his cephalic fins and upper chest. He is named after owner of Jack’s Diving Locker, scuba guru Jeff Leicher. Jeff took Keller on his first Manta Ray Night Dive in 1985 and took Wendy on her first in 1991. He has taught them both so much about diving in Kona and we are grateful to him for his friendship and support. |
