Curly Ray is a young male 6’-7’ across. He gets his name from his bent, curved, “curly” like tail. He was first identified on Sept. 3, 1999 at Ho’ona Bay/Garden Eels just north of Keahole Point where the Kona International Airport is located. Curly has sustained substantial injuries to his pectoral fins and can also be identified by its ragged appearance.
