Russell Ray is an adult male with a short tail and was first identified with video during a day dive at the site called “Ridges” on September 22, 1996. This manta ray is named after Keller and Wendy Laros’ son Russell. This photograph was taken during the day on May 6, 2003 by manta researcher Tim Clark.
