First identified on October 25, 1999 during the evening dive at Ho’ona Bay/Garden Eels. Koji is approximately 12’ across and is perfect except that her tail is missing. She passed by the divers three times during the day but never appeared at night. She is named after Koji Ishihara who was taking his PADI Manta Ray Specialty Certification during the dive. She was again sighted in August 2002. |
