Although there is no immediate fishing threat to the mantas in Hawaii, Manta Pacific Research Foundation is taking a pro-active role in implementing a No Kill, No Extraction law for Manta Rays in the Hawaiian waters. The Foundation is preparing to ask the Hawaiian State Legislature to enact a law to protect manta rays. We need to show them that people think this is an important issue to be addressed so we are asking you to sign this petition. You do not need to be a Hawaii resident to sign, however we ask you to sign only once.
